Grace, originally from Indianapolis, earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Mild Intervention at Butler University. She taught Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and K-3 Special Education in Indianapolis for four years before relocating to Denver, where she currently teaches Kindergarten. Grace’s teaching philosophy centers on viewing all children as curious, capable, and creative individuals.
She is dedicated to instilling a love of learning through inquiry and exploration, building authentic relationships, and utilizing children’s interests to guide their learning. Experienced in working with students from Kindergarten through 5th grade, Grace ensures a student feels valued and successful. Outside of teaching, she enjoys hiking in the Colorado mountains, reading, trying new recipes, and spending time with her kitten, Buddy.
