Zach is an elementary tutor in his fourth year teaching Kindergarten. He holds a master’s degree in education with a dual teaching license in K-6 and Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Teaching. He is passionate about making learning an engaging experience for young minds. His approach revolves around the belief that education should be fun as he infuses creativity and interaction into every lesson.
Zach strongly advocates for student-led exploration, encouraging children to actively participate in their learning journey, fostering curiosity and critical thinking. Building meaningful relationships is the heart of Zach’s teaching philosophy—creating a supportive atmosphere where each child feels valued and heard. Embracing a growth mindset, he instills in students the belief that anything is possible with dedication and effort. He believes strongly in embracing failure as a learning opportunity which creates academic perseverance. Beyond the classroom, Zach enjoys anything outdoors including gardening, camping, running, and hiking.
Zach views himself as not only an educator but as a mentor, aiming to inspire a lasting love for learning! His goal is to empower students to believe in their capabilities—students can learn anything!
