Madeleine is a dedicated gifted education teacher at Challenge School in the Cherry Creek School District, currently in her eighth year of teaching. She is passionate about fostering a learning environment that is engaging, supportive, and appropriately challenging for all students.
Madeleine loves education! She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Gifted Education from the University of Denver. She also earned a Graduate Certificate in Educational Neuroscience from Butler University and is currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Literacy from Regis University.
Before specializing in gifted education, Madeleine taught kindergarten and first grade in a variety of classroom settings across Denver, CO; Lincoln, NE; and Rapid City, SD.
In addition to her classroom work, Madeleine is passionate about tutoring. She has supported students in kindergarten through fifth grade in both math and reading, including those with learning differences such as ADHD and dyslexia. She values the opportunity tutoring provides to build strong relationships with students and help them grow in a positive, engaging, and encouraging environment.
