Laine is a middle school math teacher with over 14 years of experience in the classroom. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Mississippi and an active Colorado teaching license. While he specializes in 5th-8th grade mathematics, Laine also leads daily small group instruction ranging from K-5th grade foundational math skills.
Laine’s teacher superpower lies in quickly identifying learning gaps and crafting personalized lessons that make math both engaging and approachable. New concepts will be introduced with manipulatives, models & an emphasis on self-discovery that helps develop ownership over new learning. By working with Laine, your child will not only gain the confidence needed to thrive in their General Education math classroom immediately, but will learn to take risks, embrace challenges, and grow into independent lifelong learners.
When not teaching math, Laine enjoys hiking, photography, attending live music concerts and cooking for his family.
