Kara Redfield

Kara, originally from Minnesota, holds an AA in Biblical Studies from Lutheran Bible Institute in Seattle, WA, and a BS in Elementary Education from Crown College, MN. With 18 years of teaching experience across various grade levels, encompassing both mainstream and special education, Kara’s passion for education extends globally. She served in the Peace Corps in South Africa, taught Kindergarten at a missionary international school in Tanzania, and facilitated ESL learning in Cambodia.

Kara’s expertise shines in guiding students to master reading, writing, and organizational skills, fostering their overall growth in confidence, social-emotional development, and academics. Her approach involves infusing joy into learning, making it enjoyable while equipping students with the tools necessary for academic success. Outside the classroom, Kara embraces her love for hiking, camping, volunteering at church, and exploring local restaurants during her free time.
