Emma Lonadier

Emma, originally from New York, has over 9 years of education experience. She has taught both 3rd and 4th grade in public and charter schools as well as early-childhood education in a Montessori setting. Her tutoring experience ranges from first grade all the way through high school. Emma is a passionate educator whose child-centered approach helps to foster strong relationships with students and improve educational outcomes. Teaching literacy and math are both passions for Emma. She has loved reading since a young age and strives to make literacy breakthroughs with her students through targeted intervention and instilling a foundational love for reading. She enjoys the flexible thinking and problem solving involved in teaching mathematics and uses students’ strengths to target, cater, and highlight the most effective math strategies for each individual. Emma holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Hamilton College and a Master’s in Education from Relay Graduate School in New York City. She is currently obtaining a Masters in Speech Pathology from Emerson College.

Emma is dedicated to working with students to instill a love of learning by building relationships, exploring children’s interest, and inquiry-driven lessons. When she is not teaching Emma enjoys trying new foods and restaurants, spending time outside with her friends, reading a good book, and learning to ski!
