Stephanie is a passionate math teacher with 10 years of experience working in public and charter schools in Colorado. She is dedicated to helping 2nd to 6th grade mathematicians build confidence and excitement in math. For the past seven years, she has been strongly recognized for growing her students at an average of 1.8 years in one academic year. Her success has led her to her current role, the Lead Math Curriculum Developer for a nationally recognized charter school that spans in several states.
Stephanie holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Education with an Endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education from Regis University. Her educational philosophy is that all students are capable of learning regardless of race or social status. In order for every child to succeed, she believes we must hold students and ourselves to high expectations. Her approach is to teach creatively, push students thinking, and build on their foundations. Beyond being an educator, Stephanie finds joy in being a mother to her first child, indulges in foodie adventures, and escapes into the mountains.
