Ryan has taught 6th grade math for eight years at a Blue Ribbon Accredited middle school in Denver. Prior to teaching math, Ryan taught special education for 5 years. In the math classroom, Ryan’s students averaged over a year and a half of growth and his end-of-year data was often among the best in the city and state. Ryan prides himself on his ability to make math visual, interactive, relatable and fun. Ryan has a fun loving personality that endeared him to his students and allowed him to build strong, lasting relationships with them. Ryan has bachelor degrees in both Elementary and Special Education from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.

Beyond math, Ryan enjoys time in the mountains, skiing, mountain biking, and hiking. He is also an avid Green Bay Packer football fan and has loved the Colorado Avalanche since he was a hockey player as a child.
