Katie, a Denver native, has been dedicated to working with children since her early babysitting days. After earning her undergraduate degree in Communications and Art History, she delved into the education field. Katie completed a Masters in Elementary Education, teaching in setting: Denver, the US Virgin Islands, and Dubai. Katie also has experience as an Applied Behavior Analysis for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Over the years, Katie has tutored students aged 4 to 10 in reading, writing, and math, embracing a positive, relationship-focused teaching style. With over 25 years of child-centric work and more than 6 years in private and public school classrooms, Katie brings a wealth of expertise. Her approach fosters a growth mindset, aiming to make each child feel valued and challenged to reach their highest potential. Outside work, Katie enjoys family time, travel, reading, and outdoor activities.
