Connor Ray

Connor, with a background as a private tutor and STEM educator for the past six years, brings a deep passion for teaching. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, he earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN, before moving to Denver in 2020, where he later completed his M.S. in Applied Chemistry from the Colorado School of Mines. With extensive experience teaching math and science to middle and high school students, Connor firmly believes that no topic is too challenging for a student to master.

Specializing in grades 5-10, he excels in finding innovative ways to visualize and simplify complex subjects, emphasizing the importance of strengthening fundamental foundations for a holistic understanding. Connor is adept at catering his teaching approach to individual student needs, ensuring comprehension through varied methods. Beyond teaching, he finds joy in activities like hiking, reading at coffee shops, watching movies, and playing board and video games with friends.
