Ari Moore

Ari began his formal teaching career in 2020, drawing from a decade of impactful experiences in informal education, including involvement in youth movements on college campuses and the summer camp world. As an 8th-grade Special Education Teacher at DSST GVR Middle School, Ari is dedicated to supporting students below grade level in both math and literacy. Beyond his teaching responsibilities, he actively contributes to shaping the school’s culture and plays a role in the dynamic educational and athletic departments. Ari advocates for a holistic approach to education, placing a strong emphasis on building trusting relationships between educators and students.

He believes that fostering these connections is fundamental to academic success and personal growth. Ari integrates the values instilled in his multilingual home into his teaching philosophy, emphasizing the importance of culture, diversity, and exploring the world to forge meaningful connections. Outside the classroom, Ari finds joy in immersing himself in nature, cherishing moments with friends and family, and continually exploring new hobbies and ideas. His passion for education and dedication to creating a supportive learning environment shine through both inside and outside the school setting.
